You'd have riots, people were getting maced and arrested. These poor kids would go to see a show and come out with their nose in their ear and the cops did it. Everyone would be inside having a good time and the cops would come in and say, "We've got to shut it down," and take the money. In the early 80s, it was madness. There was an Exploited show in LA - the cops came in and everybody sat down. They were just golfing with their clubs on these poor kids - girls, it didn't make a difference. There's nothing you could do - the cops have their orders and they think they're right.
