30 Years Ago: DOOM record their first Peel session

DOOM recorded their first of two Peel sessions on this day in 1988 at Maida Vale 5. The session was first played on the Tuesday 28 June programme. John mentions he'll be seeing DOOM - along with NAPALM DEATH, EXTREME NOISE TERROR, and ELECTRO HIPPIES - live at the Ipswich Caribbean Centre that Friday.
