30 Years Ago: NUCLEAR ASSAULT, ATOMKRAFT, ONSLAUGHT and AGENT STEEL live in London

NUCLEAR ASSAULT were on Monsters of Rock a couple of days before to promote this event. They arrived in London on the 16th to play a non-tour gig with ATOMKRAFT at the Mean Fiddler. The tour officially started the next day: Burton, Newcastle and then Hammersmith Odeon (adding ONSLAUGHT to the set) on this day in 1987. After a travel day the tour continued to Germany, Netherlands and ended in Belgium on the 28th.

NUCLEAR ASSAULT returned for a couple of gigs with ATOMKRAFT (Sheffield and Dingwalls London) before heading back to the US. Touring would begin again in the middle of the next year (1988), back to England opening for SLAYER in September and headlining with ACID REIGN and RE-ANIMATOR in October.

Clips below in order - ATOMKRAFT openers, AGENT STEEL headlining. ONSLAUGHT (who came on after NUCLEAR ASSAULT) were recorded (premiering their cover of AC/DC's "Let There Be Rock") and aired on the Radio 1 Friday Rock Show with Tommy Vance, but I haven't been able to find a clip.
