    Flyin' the Flannel is the fourth album by the American alternative rock band FIREHOSE, released in 1991. FIREHOSE was formed in 1986 by two members of The MINUTEMEN after the death of D Boon in a car accident in December 1985.

    ...the songwriting did become more succinct, which only improved the album's outstanding 16 tracks (resulting in fIREHOSE's finest album)... Flyin' the Flannel is one of the great lost rock gems of the '90s. Super highly recommended. - 4/5
