A new band that manages to genuinely conjure the tone of 80's US hardcore and post-punk. BLACK FLAG, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY, BL'AST...bands emerging from punk with an aggression that influenced many metal bands. GUILTY PARENTS feed this sound through a more experimental production with submerged vocals and a harsher sound. If any of those bands interest you, you owe it to yourself to hear this record. GUILTY PARENTS have executed to a level that approaches the quality and intensity of those originals, something extremely rare today!

Review
...a solid blend of art rock, punk and garage... catchy riffs and tempos along with a dark and eerie tone to win over any listener. Far too often, bands that play a post punk style are thought of as being a bit less energetic than the traditional brick-through-window pace of punk music, but Guilty Parents do not stray away from playing energetic and fast tunes... - Cult Nation 5/5
