Review

Slavecrushing Tyrant are much more a Black/Thrash kind of act, with hammering drums and a deeply dirty recording sound. Their vocals are recorded waaaay back in the mix, and the slashing, thrashing guitars are right up front where they should be. This shit chugs and pummels and they even rip out some pretty decent leads. Of the two bands, Slavecrushing Tyrant are way more bad ass, and while I enjoyed the Severe Storm tracks, Slavecrushing Tyrant rip out such bestial Hellhammer-meets-Morningstar slayage that I just want to hear their next album that much more. - 4/5
