The Heavy Metal Hero (Rodney Matthews) (T-Shirt)

The Heavy Metal Hero one of Matthews' most popular and enduring images. Inspired by his father's working model of The Flying Scotsman, the now iconic train was originally designed for a poster. It was later licensed by Silmarils as the cover art for their video game Transarctica, then by DIAMOND HEAD for their Am I Evil? album cover, and then by Ride, as one of ten Matthews designs to appear on their snowboards. Most recently, the image inspired a track for Matthews' album Trinity.
