Warpig
Warpig (2006 Reissue)
CD

WARPIG's one and only LP! Reissued with new artwork by Orion Landau (HIGH ON FIRE, ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY) and extensive liner notes, including scans of the original lyrics and notes. WARPIG (Canada) were a late-sixties / early-seventies rock / proto-metal group. Their self-titled debut was originally released by Fonthill Records and later reissued by London Records in 1973. Excellent 70's rock, nice riffs, driving bass and drums, organ too. And another band overlooked during their career; now rediscovered, reappraised and appreciated. Fans of DEEP PURPLE, BLUE OYSTER CULT, hard rocking, NWOBHM; should check this out!
