DARKSPACE released their first demo on this day in 2002. It has only ever been available digitally, originally from their official website with an accompanying PDF booklet.

A year and a half later they released I, the debut album; first as a limited digipak, then reissued in 2006 through Avantgarde after the successful second album.
The speech sampled on "Dark -1.0" (track 2) is taken from Dark City (1998).
