20 Years Ago: KRIEG release Destruction Ritual

It's more of a statement of what Krieg actually is as far as our ideological and musical side goes. I don't think the themes have changed too much but the execution is certainly different than before.

KRIEG released their second (or third if you include Sono lo scherno by recording date) album, Destruction Ritual, on this day in 2001 through Red Stream.

Session drums by Cryptic Winter, who was also session drummer with JUDAS ISCARIOT at this time.

I am 100% satisfied with every aspect of the recording. Sombre Records is soon releasing the LP version which marks the first 12 inch vinyl of Krieg's seven years, another pinnacle to seek personal pride in.
Really [bass] wouldn't have sounded right if it had something to offset the white noise instrumental tracks. We'll see what later recordings turn up, though there will definitely be bass on my next few compositions.
