20 Years Ago: NECROMANTIA release Ancient Pride (the wolf, the bear, the raven)

Released by NECROMANTIA on this day in 1997, between the second album Scarlet Evil Witching Black (1995) and third, IV: Malice (2000).

It's only for this album (the lyrical change from vampyrism and darkness to ancient times -ed), "Ancient Pride". It was something we wanted to do like a tribute, let's say, to the lost ancient moral values of the past which do not exist anymore. It was only for this album and, in "Ancient Pride", let's say, "Shaman" and "For The Light Of My Darkness", even though it is an erotic song I would say, there are many dark elements. But the whole concept was only for that album as a tribute.
