24 Years Ago: BLASPHEMY release Gods of War

There wasn't any kind of a plan really, it was just a collection of leftover songs and a few newer ones that Black Winds wrote on his own. I think maybe Black Priest had to do with some of them too but he didn't stay in the group that much longer when he came back.

BLASPHEMY released Gods of War, their second album, on this day in 1993. The collection of material making up the Apocalypse / Abyss sides was not album-length so Osmose decided to expand the offering (allowing the running time to reach 42 minutes) by including the 1989 Blood Upon the Altar demo as bonus.
