The death of Cliff Burton suddenly ended their European tour opening for METALLICA in September 1986. ANTHRAX returned to Europe in February. The short tour also featured METALLICA and CELTIC FROST for some dates, ending on this day in 1987 at the Hammersmith Odeon, London with support from METAL CHURCH and CRIMSON GLORY.
The I Am the Law single was released around this time (Among the Living LP was out just over a month after this gig). A short Japanese tour followed, then a larger American tour through the summer; back to Europe, ending again at the Hammersmith Odeon in November.
