...we made our first demo in november 1990. It is titled 'When Death Join Us' and contains five tracks of aggressive death metal. We recorded it on 16 tracks in a professional studio and it has a good sound quality. Of course there are things we would have liked to change but I like it all the same. We will also record a new demo 'Rotting ways to misery' in june 1991, it will be even more brutal and aggressive I think!

SENTENCED recorded their debut demo, When Death Join Us, on this day in 1990 at Tico-Tico Studio.
The demo has sold now a bit over 300 copies. I think that's quite good for a debut demo. Yeah, the response has been very positive. Nowadays I get more and more mail, about 20 letters in week.

Yeah, reactions are great!!! The responses we got are very positive and it seems everybody like it. Several labels are interested too but we haven't signed yet so I don't want to tell more about it for the moment.

It contains 5 songs with a great intro and recorded on 16-trax. The sound is absolutely brilliant and the cover is professionally done. They've been choosed to be featured on the 2nd WITCHHUNT RECORDS sampler with bands like GRAVE, AGATHOCLES, EXULCERATION, DISGRACE, and some more. Some major labels has got in touch with them, but that's nothing sure yet. Anyway this band deserves a great deal by a good label.
