31 Years Ago: TROUBLE release Run to the Light

TROUBLE released their third album, Run to the Light, on this day in 1987.

Its a bit different, a little bit more upbeat. The songs seem to be a bit shorter than some of the selections on "The Skull". I think its a lot more agressive. Its not even close to thrashing, its our own style, but there is just a little bit more energy. "The Skull" was kinda like a "downer" album. The new one is an "upper" album. I don't know how to phrase it.

...I think the way the songs were written on "The Skull", was real slow-paced, long, and drawn out. The new songs aren't really that long and drawn out. Some of them are still slow and heavy but they seem to have a lot more energy to them, a lot more style to them than "The Skull" had. Not to say we weren't pleased with "The Skull". Its just that we're developing our own style and this is what its turning into.
