32 Years Ago: NAKED RAYGUN live in Chicago

Chicago punk heroes NAKED RAYGUN live on this day in 1987.

In 1987 NAKED RAYGUN were drawing a crowd large enough to start playing the Riviera, a 2500 capacity theatre which is still standing on Broadway & Lawrence.

This concert, featuring opening bands DIDJITS and BHOPAL STIFFS, was recorded by Tim Powell of Metro Mobile. Their cover of STIFF LITTLE FINGERS "Suspect Device" was included on Jettison (1988). Other songs from this night have been released as bonus tracks on reissues of Jettison and Understand? (1989).
