35 Years Ago: MOTORHEAD release Another Perfect Day

Here we are again, Sportsfans, something old - me, something new - Brian, something borrowed - money, and something reptile - Phil.

MOTORHEAD released their excellent sixth album on this day in 1983. Eddie Clarke left the band during the 1982 Iron Fist tour and was replaced by ex-THIN LIZZY (mid-late 70s) guitarist Brian "Robbo" Robertson. Robbo stayed on for the studio recording, this is his only album with MOTORHEAD.

Recording Another Perfect Day was fucking torture. Brian, he'd take seventeen hours doin' a guitar track. It fuckin' took so long compared with the other albums. And then when it was released everybody fucking hated it.
