35 Years Ago: RUDIMENTARY PENI live in Forest Gate

Recorded at the Norwich Road Church Hall in Forest Gate, east London on this day in 1982. Around the time of the self-titled (Outer Himalayan) and Farce (Crass Records) EPs.

The church and hall were built around 1880. It's still standing but has been gutted to make way for a girls' religious school.

Sexual roles perversely glorified,
Beyond virgin motherhood, all status is denied.
But starvation and death's; the real testament
To the truth of the god your bible represents.

A bootleg LP, Catastrophe - Live 1982, contains this gig, the soundcheck and a few songs from a Camden gig the same year.
