38 Years Ago: AU PAIRS record their second Peel session

AU PAIRS recorded their second John Peel session on this day in 1980.

The session aired a couple of weeks later, on 12 June. You'll notice, from John's introduction, it was the same week JOY DIVISION's Love Will Tear Us Apart was released; not long after Curtis' death on 18 May.

AU PAIRS eventually recorded four Peel sessions, one a year from 1979 to 1982.
