One of a series of gigs in late June / early July - DIE HAUT, LYDIA LUNCH, and THE BIRTHDAY PARTY - performed live on this day in 1982 at the Franz Stollwerck Maschinenhalle, Köln. The abandoned factory was occupied in 1980 and became a cultural centre until most of the buildings were demolished in 1987.
DIE HAUT are the opening band, LYDIA LUNCH - who, with Rowland S. Howard, was recording Honeymoon in Red during this period - performs "Thirsty Animal" and joins THE BIRTHDAY PARTY on "Funhouse" during their set.
