Formed back in 1989, LAST DAYS OF HUMANITY were a longtime staple in the deepest bowels of the international goregrind scene. But in 1998, following a demo tape in 1993, came a classic expulsion of maniacal filth n fury: The Sound of Rancid Juices Sloshing Around Your Coffin, their long-awaited debut album. Completely over-the-top in every element, LAST DAYS OF HUMANITY's full-length debut was goregrind in its rawest state, with an especial emphasis on the GRIND aspect - and, at times, even entering into full-on noisecore territory - and featuring those now-characteristic vocals that plumbed almost absurdist depths of the sonic sewer. Still, with songwriting that seemingly bordered on the chaotic but retained a twisted sense of catchiness, The Sound of Rancid Juices Sloshing Around Your Coffin became one of those rare records that skillfully balanced the all-out disgusting and the devilishly fun.
