Satanic Warmaster

Formed 1998 in Lappeenranta, Finland

Two red-disc edition. Disc 2 features the 'raw version' of Exultation of Cruelty with Cryptic Winter on drums, and two previously unreleased tracks: "Orkreich" and "Burning the Holy Temple".

The new album, entirely performed, recorded, and mixed by Werwolf, was created in complete isolation between 2021 and 2024. Exultation of Cruelty emanates a wintry breath reminiscent of the rising black metal underground of the early 2000s, capturing the original barbaric essence of SATANIC WARMASTER-before the dilution of Finnish black metal by today's trends.

Since forming SATANIC WARMASTER in 1998, founder Werwolf has prolifically - and provocatively - stoked fires that refuse to be extinguished. Devoutly traditional but eternally fruitful, standing as an immovable monument to the purest and proudest foundations of the artform. As such, SATANIC WARMASTER is hated and loved with equally strong passion, with those naysayers only feeding that fire with falsehoods and gross misconceptions. There is no middle ground: no apologies, and no surrender.
