AEGRUS have been gradually working towards this debut album for ten years now, steady growth over sevearl demos. Their first complete opus is killer black metal of the Finnish strain (HORNA, SATANIC WARMASTER). Great cover art too!

Review

Although it's highly inspired by Sargeist, Behexen and Satanic Warmaster's sound, Aegrus' first full length "Devotion For The Devil" is an astonishing album that's way better than the last releases of these bands thanks to seven killer tracks that will remain impressed on memory since first listening. Black Metal at its finest. - 5/5
