Hailing from the harsh coastline of the West of Ireland From the Bogs of Aughiska have a unique take on the Dark Ambient genre inspired by a bleak environment and Ireland's colorful history & culture.
Imagine the grandiose sound of such Black Metal bands as Primordial & Drudkh but without the vocals and guitars replaced with samples of storms. This is the musical equivalent of standing on top of the Cliffs of Moher with a gale force wind in your face.

Review
It's a rare day I call a cd perfect, but this one is. A pure translation of land and soul into darkened, callous and at times magnificent sound. This one's for the annals of the Irish underground. - Metal Ireland 5/5
