Noisegate
The Towers are Burning
CD

NOISEGATE were a two man ambient wrecking crew, taking the crusty crush of NEUROSIS, and smearing it into desloate and apocalyptic stretches of pure droning malevolence. This, their first record, is easily one of the bleakest and harshest and gorgeously heavy records we have ever heard. Brutal and aggressive and furious, sometimes impossibly tranquil and serene, but even at it's most ambient, NOISEGATE still managed to imbue every minute of every track with some ineffable otherworldly forboding.
