Pneuma Hagion - Trinity I (Cassette)

Review

While Trinity I isn't the most likely demo to convert new followers to the sound of cavernous and crushing black death metal, it's a solid start for a new project from a scene veteran. Three tracks of blasphemous war metal with snippets of filthy death metal and stifling doom, these short but devastating tracks leave me wanting more. R.'s onto something here, so keep this project on your radar, especially if an amalgamation of Archgoat, Incantation, Beherit and Disembowelment sounds good to you. - Metal Observer 4/5
