SICK ROOM 7 was vomited forth on Danish soil in May 2005 and released its first demo later on that year. In early 2006, the band signed to Soundspheric Records who then released the Hail Intolerance album in October that same year. The music that is spawned in the sick room is grainy, moody and oppressive, accompanied by lyrics revolving around degradation and despair. Lineup includes Vuml of CHURCH BIZARRE / VICTIMIZER.
Review
...Sick Room 7 proves how you do oldschool-styled metal: by updating what is basically a dead, dated genre just enough to make it relevent while maintaining the core integrity that makes the progenitors of the style gripping. This sounds like nothing else out there today and is highly recommended to fans of doom, both oldschool and modern. Certainly you're unlikely to hear an album that makes you feel worse than this anytime soon, and to me, that can only be a good thing - Metal Archives 5/5
