The Slits - Cut (CD)

THE SLITS formed in 1976 and early material was raw and aggressive punk. John Peel, who recorded a couple of sessions with them, said the magnificence came from the conflict between their inability to play coupled with their determination to play.
By the time they recorded Cut in 1979 Budgie from SIOUXSIE AND THE BANSHEES had been recruited on drums and the production quality vastly improved, along with playing ability. Excellent unique record of late-seventies West London punk.
