    Killer exhumation of the recording history of TREBLINKA!!!! An essential part of Swedish death metal and first wave BLACK metal!

    You get the three main releases - the 1988 and 1989 demos and Severe Abominations EP - with rehearsal songs and three live recordings from 1988-89. An additional bonus are Sumerian Cry instrumental outtakes - the album eventually released after the band changed name to TIAMAT.

    The two demos sound very clean, the EP is harsh (either the recording or original vinyl mastering), rehearsal room tape recordings have remained in good (obviously raw) condition, the pre-one-off-gig 2008 rehearsal song sounds very clear. Live tracks are crowd recordings but in good quality. The Sumerian Cry instrumentals sound great!!

    Highly recommended piece of underground history. The two demos alone - absolute classics in great quality - make this an essential collection. Add the EP, rehearsal and live recordings as extras and the last bonus is possibly the best - hearing early instrumentals of Sumerian Cry, one of the best Swedish death metal albums!!
