The conclusion of any effective poem should feel like going through the windshield, and VANESSA VAN BASTEN accomplishes this with Good Morning, Vanessa Van Basten! A wall of Doom-style guitars introduces the final track, and soon a steady increment of drums leads into a free-form feedback session led by Claudio Parodi. Once the listener lands on the pavement and fades into silence a nice acoustic passage ensues which could be interpreted as an ascent into heaven or a fading ambulance ride into one's subconscious. - Drowned in Sound 5/5
