Portuguese death metal, THORMENTHOR began recording Dissolved in Absurd on this day in 1991. Originally released as their fourth demo tape, it was released again in November the same year by Slime as a 7" + cassette package.
Their sound is raw, early death metal. Their previous demo in particular had a strong impact in the Portuguese underground.
The first Black Metal band inhere was Thormenthor, their Self Immolation is such a blast. And a quite serious influence on our early sound.
