"Leaving Here" is a cover of an early Holland-Dozier-Holland number originally recorded by Eddie Holland in 1963.

MOTORHEAD first released this cover as a single in 1977 with "White Line Fever" on the b-side. Before that, in 1975, it was recorded for their "first" album, On Parole (which remained unreleased until 1979).
This Top of the Pops appearance, hosted by Tommy Vance, was arranged to promote The Golden Years, a live EP released a week later (8 May). It reached #8 in the charts.
