Era Decay was SETH's fourth studio opus, originally surfacing in 2004, and continued to establish a more brutal integration of riffing & compositional styles and ideas which was indicative of the times, whilst also still retaining some blackened metal elements among more progressively technical ingredients. With a cleaner, more cutting production, this resulted in one of the band's heaviest outputs, with some intricate riffs and melodies.
