Months before their first recording contract, RAZOR recorded 11 songs which were to form the band's first full length release. As a result of the band's deal with Viper Records, these recordings never made it to the public. What is on offer here are the original versions of the 11 songs that were written in the summer of 1984, immediately following the release of Armed and Dangerous. These recordings were thought to be lost for over 30 year, but resurfaced in 2018.
There is some quality loss in certain songs but the band wanted these recordings released without a substantial touch up for authenticity.
For many years a different version of these songs was traded in the metal underground as the "Escape the Fire demo". Note that those versions are not the lost versions that are provided here. Nor are these versions the ones that ended up on Executioner's Song. But these are the versions that the band originally wanted you to hear!
Available for the first time in the band's history are four songs that were supposed to be part of an album that would have been entitled "Escape The Fire". Enjoy!
