Snakes of Urnes (Sterling Silver) (Pendant)

Nordic design based upon the decorations in the old portal area of Urnes Stave Church in Sogn og Fjordane, Norway. Build circa 1130, the old portal and it's meaning remains the cause of much debate. It is possible the design is based on Norse mythology with the snakes and dragons representing the end of the world from the Ragnarok legend.
